MN for the Win
MN for the Win
Royce Lewis, Disciple of Tommy Watkins (Rays Series Recap, 6/18-6/20)
The Minnesota Twins drop 2 of 3 to the Tampa Bay Rays at Target Field. David and Dan recap all the highs and lows of the series including the consistency of SWR and Joe Ryan's continued dominance. David is once again frustrated at Pablo Lopez's insistence to give up home runs on 0-2 counts, but is perhaps even more frustrated at Dan's lack of anger at Pablo. For the first time ever a player was named both a beast and placed on the bench in Beast vs. Bench which leads to a heated debate regarding baseball tactics and strategy. Dan wants to know who gets the call if Max Kepler goes on the IL, and David wants to know if it's time for Varland to officially move to the bullpen. The boys discuss the sad news that Willie Mays passed away and make their picks for the upcoming A's series. Thanks for listening, and as always, go Twins!
