Dan is upset still that Rocco Baldelli didn't do more to try to win what turned out to be a wild loss in Game 1, whereas David has more reason and patience for the manager's choices. They discuss the record-setting series from Jose Miranda in which he recorded hits in 12 consecutive at-bats, and they also admire the play of rookie Brooks Lee and veteran catcher Christian Vazquez. Carlos Correa appears to be OK after taking a baseball to the right hand -- well enough to play Monday and then, hopefully, in the All-Star Game next week.
