MN for the Win - A Minnesota Twins Podcast
Ober Giving Keuchel a Literal Piggyback (Rangers Series Recap, 9/1-9/3)
The Minnesota Twins rolled into Texas and took 2 of 3 from the Rangers at Globe Life Field. The bats stayed hot as the Twins scored at least 5 runs in each game, but both the starting pitching and the bullpen stumbled throughout the series. The listeners take the lead in Puckett's Picks for the first time since the sixth series of the season, and Dan is so upset he wants a change to the system. David wants to know what Joey Gallo has on Rocco that allows him to keep his roster spot, while Dan praises Rocco's bold bullpen moves. The guys breakdown the importance of each guy on the IL returning, and Dan is curious if Twins fans are being too paranoid about the Twins potentially losing the division. The boys wrap up discussing a weird review call in the Guardians-Rays game, and give their thoughts on the news that the pitch clock will stay in effect for the postseason. Thanks for listening, and as always, go Twins!
