MN for the Win - A Minnesota Twins Podcast
Sometimes It's Okay to Love and Lose (Padres Series Recap, 7/29-7/31)
Dan is away and so Andrew "Hoges" Hoganson fills in with David as the boys discuss the Twins three game series against the San Diego Padres. Hoges is upset that Rocco didn't let Sonny Gray go deeper in his start and David is upset that Rocco waited one batter too long to pull Dylan Bundy from his. The guys both praise Buxton who looks to be at 100% and carried the team offensively in this series. David wants to know if we'll ever see Sano wear a Twins jersey again, and Hoges is dying to know if the Twins will make any moves at the deadline, knowing that any moves will not be cheap. Hoges takes his shots at David and Dan for not being optimistic enough about the Twins chances to make a run in the post season this year, and he's lost all respect for David due to David's lack of enjoyment of musicals. The boys finish up making their picks for the upcoming Tigers series. Thanks for listening, and as always, go Twins!
